Dr. Joseph Garcia was a physician who lived and practiced in Knoxville. He was a Fellow of the American Society of Abdominal Surgeons and the Pan-American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He was a member of the Tennessee and American Medical Associations. He was a founding director of the Cedar Bluff Racquet Club and organized the first 50-50 Age Division for national tennis competition. In 1975, Dr. Garcia and his family (pictured here) were named the USTA Family of the Year.
