Mike became involved in USTA adult tennis during the early days of league tennis and was one of the first national USTA verifiers (preceding the self-rate system). Mike is a popular speaker on different facets of the tennis industry and is the author of numerous articles published in tennis industry publications. Mike is a USPTA Elite Professional, was a USTA national clinician, and served as president of the Ohio and Midwest USPTA associations. Mike’s work in Special Olympics Unified Doubles reflects his belief that tennis is a sport for everyone. Mike continues to coach a local high school team and organize local S.P.U.D. and Special Olympics events. He currently owns K.A.T.T.
